One of the most typical experiences you can live in Tuscany, in the months of October and November, is undoubtedly the olive harvest, the primary phase for the production of the renowned Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The hills of the Valdinievole, a Tuscan territory in the province of Pistoia in the north part of Tuscany between Lucca and Florence, offer a particularly suitable context for the cultivation of olive trees. It is therefore easy to find the landscape characterized by expanses of nets, among the trees and entire families intent on harvesting. A great effort, but also a great satisfaction in continuing a millenary tradition.
