Stendhal syndrome, a psychosomatic reaction that occurs when a person is overwhelmed by the intensity and beauty of exceptional works of art or architecture, especially when concentrated in a limited space. It's also called "Florence syndrome," did you know? The syndrome is named after the French writer Stendhal, who was personally struck by it during a visit to this marvelous city. A truly breathtaking city. Just a short distance from the Tananei, the cradle of the Renaissance.
