David had long dreamed of it, the "trumpet" model. On the other hand I wanted the "briefcase" model, like the one of Hercule Poirot. In the end it let itself be found in a flea market, our first suitcase gramophone that I dreamed of so much! "I don't know if it works, I have just picked it up from a cellar. I'm giving you some records for free to compensate" the seller told us. When we come home David fiddled around it a bit and...the gramophone worked perfectly! I'm not going to tell you how much time we spend listening to the magic sound produced by a simple "nail" over the records. PS Among the records they gave us there was this wonderful "Serenata" by Italian composer Gaetano Braga. We adore it.
